ART COBB
It has been said that if you combine Art Blakey and Jimmy Cobb, you would have Art Cobb [RIM SHOT]. In all seriousness, Art is a National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) fellow who has had extensive experience as a drummer in various settings around the world. He has made music with numerous renowned jazz artists including Andy Bey and the great vibraphonist Johnny Lytle. During the 1980s, Art led various international tours through the Mediterranean and former Soviet Union.
